The SRM Indoor-Trainer:
If you want to start the season off in top condition, you cannot take a break in winter. SRM has reacted to the many enquiries it has received and has developed a revolutionary indoor trainer. In so doing we have not followed in the tracks of existing products but have approached the topic consistently from a very different angle of our own.
- The stepless adjustment of bike position enables to adopt the individual bike position on road bike or, as well as the adjustment of a relaxed upright bike positions for persons from 165 to 200 cm.
- The wear-free magnetic brake and the 8-gear-shimano - nexus-nabe can be operated quick and easy with the grip shifters fixed on handlebar.
- With the increments integrated in the grip shifter (8-gear-Shimano-Nexus-nabe and magnetic brake), resistance can be reproduced exactly. Perfect for Interval training!
- At a cadence of 40 rot/min, with a 53 chain ring, a maximal braking power of 450 watt is achievable. At a cadence of 120 rot/min, with a 53 chain ring, maximal breaking power is 1.400 Watt. When fitting bigger chain rings (max. 61) breaking power at all cadences can be increased. The 40 gear stages of the magnetic brake together combined with the 8 gear shimano Nexus nabe result in 320 possibilities to adjust the resistance. It is certain that everybody gets the optimal resistance for his or her cadence. The attractive and robust Die attraktive und robust steel and iron combination is very stable through its weight. The flywheel mass has a weight of 23,5 kg. Thus the sensation of riding on the road can be simulated perfectly.
- The Adjustement of saddle and handlebar is done in the same way as it is with the big brother, the Ergometer, through sledges adjustable in length and height. The scale enables to adjust the individual position quickly practical when trainer is used by different persons.
- If you buy the Indoortrainer with SRM-Trainings system, it is possible to use the Online Option of the PowerControl. The Online Option enables the connection of PowerControl and PC during the training. With the SRM-Software you can monitor the data live on your PC`s screen. Also it is possible to enter a training programme.
- On the right side of the frame there is a bottle cage, in order to replace the sweat you lost.
- On the handlebar brake levers are mounted thus handle position that you are used to can be taken on, even though not racing on the road.
- When ordering an Indoortrainer without SRM training system, a magnet and a mounting for SRM on handlebar will be attached so you can upgrade the SRM training system without any problem.
- When ordering an Indoortrainers with SRM training system you get an additional magnet and an handlebar mounting for PowerControl for free. Thus, quick replacement of SRM training system from Indoortrainer to road bike is ensured. When switching frequentely we recommend buying a SRM training system with integrated axis (e.g. DuraAce oder FSA).
- The Indoortrainer is always delivered without pedals.
- The Indoortrainer is available with all SRM training systems (except for MTB, Cannondale and Specialized) and all crank lengths.
- The Indoortrainer is available in three colours: black, blue or red.
